October 18th Stake Temple Day
Arriving at the London Temple, which is actually in Newchapel, not London, after about a 3 hour drive, we settled into a temple apartment complete with kitchenette and bath en suite. The cost was 9 pounds ($16) per person per night, towels are an extra pound, otherwise everything else is provided. We proceeded to an endowment session, dinner in the cafeteria, followed by sealings of marriages and children to their parents. We were able to buy a Tabernacle Choir CD and pictures of the new First Presidency, as well as President Monson's favorite picture of Christ at the small Distribution Center.
